Babu Owino Reduced DJ Evolve to a Vegetable, Miguna Miguna says

Dr. Miguna Miguna now says DJ Evolve does not have to testify for Embakasi East MP Babu Owino to be convicted for attempted murder.

Reacting to a news link posted by Citizen TV on twitter, Miguna Miguna said that Babu Owino was captured on camera shooting DJ Evolve twice in the neck and that is enough evidence to put him behind bars.

Citizen Digital published an article which alleges that DJ Evolve, AKA Felix Orinda, has confessed not seeing Babu Owino holding a gun during that fateful night.

Giving his testimony to the court through a video conference from his home bed, DJ Evolve said that he did not know anything that happened to him since he only found himself in an ambulance.

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has given his legal view on the matter, saying that the court does not need DJ Evolve’s testimony to convict Babu Owino for his crime.

“Babu Owino shot DJ Evolve twice in the neck. DJ Evolve is crippled from the neck down and is now a complete vegetable,” Miguna Miguna said.

According to the lawyer, the court only needs forensic evidence that links the bullet found on DJ Evolve’s body to Babu Owino, which is an easy thing to do for the experts.

“Everyone saw the video with Babu Owino holding the pistol and shooting DJ Evolve. The bullets that crippled DJ Evolve ejected from Babu’s pistol. It doesn’t require validation by the victim. That’s why we have ballistic forensic experts – to connect CRIMINAL Babu to the gun and the bullets that were found lodged in DJ Evolve’s body.”

“This isn’t a case that requires DJ Evolve to testify. Babu would be convicted even if DJ Evolve was dead or incapable of speaking or comprehending what’s going on.”

However, Miguna Miguna regrets that the Kenyan Justice system is broken and ripe with ineptness and corruption, hindering them from finding the truth and imprisoning the Member of Parliament.
