KUCCPS Careers 2020: Career Guide

KUCCPS is a public corporation mandated to coordinate and secure placements for government-sponsored students in colleges and universities across the country.

Who qualifies for KUCCPS Careers 2020?

Previously, students who scored B and above were placed in public universities only. Then, many students who scored C+ and above got the opportunity to join private universities for a degree courses.

Nowadays, KUCCPS courses are available to any student who scores a C+, and you can join both private and public university at no extra cost as long as you are paced through KUCCPS careers.

How do I access a list of KUCCPS Courses 2020?

There are so many opportunities on the KUCCPS courses that you can choose from in 2020. KUCCPS careers 2020 offers over 529 degree courses, 215 diploma courses, 109 certificate courses, and 137 artisan courses in 2020.

KUCCPS also offers downloadable list of courses that you can apply for. What you need to do is to make a wise career choice and browse through the list of universities offering your course.

Does KUCPPS pay student fees?

So you may be wondering, does KUCCPS pay student fees? Well, the answer is no. The state corporation only secures a position for you in a college or university. The government subsidizes fees for those who are placed through KUCCPS.

Thus, if you are seeking for KUCCPS careers 2020, you have an opportunity to find a course of your choice at relatively low cost.

KUCCPS requires universities not to charge more than KES 56,420 in any academic year.

This means that in a year of 2 semesters, the university will charge government sponsored students a maximum of KES 28, 210, or any other installment amount that will not exceed the required total for a year.

What is more, the university pays for each student KES 30,000 directly through the university or college. Yet, the student can still apply for HELB loan which is usually approximately KES40, 000 per academic year.

So basically, this means that government-sponsored university students can barely pay a shilling from their pockets for university fees. This makes university education quite affordable for everyone who scored the required minimum grade for KUCCPS careers 2020 placement.

However, you may be required to sort yourself on personal requirements such as food and such stuff.
