KUCCPS Opens the Second Revision of University Courses 2021

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened its portal for the second revision of courses for potential university and college students.

KUCCPS opened the portal for the first revision in May, and the process ended on June 11. The Placement Service has now completed its provisional placement of candidates to pursue various university courses. This means that 2020 KCSE candidates who applied to join university to pursue various degrees will know their destined career from today.

Students who wish to pursue diploma, artisan and craft certificate courses have also been selected through the KUCCPS. A total of 94,275 students have secured one of the courses they chose through the first application and first revision of courses.

However, as the Board has noted, there are over 32,718 candidates with C+ and above who did not secure a position in their preferred universities.

To give a chance to this large number of candidates who might miss out on the highly coveted university degree, the Placement Service has offered them a second chance to revise their courses.

The second revision of courses for university students in the 2021/2022 academic year has officially opened. Students can now log in to their portal and check whether they have been placed in their preferred courses. If not, do not be afraid. You have 15 more days to do so as the second revision exercise has just began.

To revise your courses, you need to log in to the KUCCPS portal and open dashboard. You then check if there is a message showing that you missed or qualified for one of your choices provisionally. If you have missed your choices, go to the Application/revision tab and begin the second revision exercise.

There are also over 10,707 students who did not submit any application in the first application and revision exercises. They now have the last chance to do so, otherwise they will lose a chance of joining the university.

So, how can I revise my university courses for the second revision 2021?
