The KUCCPS Inter-Institution Transfer is Now Open

The 2019 KCSE candidates who were just recently admitted to various institutions can now apply for inter-institution transfer. KUCCPS usually gives candidates the chance to transfer from one university to another for the courses they have been chosen to undertake.

For one reason or another, you may not be comfortable with the university they have chosen for you. This is your chance to make amendments to your university choices.

The KUCCPS posted on its twitter handle that it has opened the inter-institution transfer 2020 to allow the 2019 KCSE students to change their universities.

The Placement Service wrote on twitter: “Inter-institutional transfer application now open!

Log in to the KUCCPS Student Portal for details.” The KUCCPS further reiterated that the inter-university transfer 2020 is done online through the student portal.

To make the amendments, log in to your portal and click on “Transfers” tab in the primary menu bar. Then read the transfer guidelines on the Transfer Dashboard and go to Transfer Applications and make your amendment.

You will be required to enter the program code for your course in the university you want to transfer to. For instance, if you want to transfer from Bachelor of Education Science Moi University to Bachelor of Education Science UON, you will have to enter the code for B.ED UON. The codes are found in the Programmes section of the KUCCPS portal.

KUCCPS charges Ksh 1,000 for the inter-institution transfer.

Good luck!
