The KUCCPS Portal is Now Open for First Revision and New Application of Courses 2023

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that the online portal for university, college and certificate applications is now open for first revision of courses.

The KUCCPS portal was opened today, 17th May, 2023, for those who either missed their first time choices or have not applied for any course. The deadline for application and revision of courses will be on June 7, 2023

Those who scored C+ and above in KCSE 2020 and have not yet applied or need to revise their courses can do so for the next 21 days.

Students with a C- can also apply for diploma courses through KUCCPS portal while those who scored D can apply for certificate and artisan courses. Students who scored E in 2020 KCSE can also apply for artisan courses in various TVET institutions via the Placement Service online.

To apply for a university course through KUCCPS, the student should go to the KUCCPS student portal and log in to access application services.

They can then apply by entering the following details:

  • Username: Your KCSE Index Number e.g. 33547103001 KCSE
  • Year: 2022
  • Password: Your birth certificate number or KCPE index number e.g. 33547117001

Then go to programs and add check whether you can qualify for your courses of choice. You can add courses to basket as you continue browsing until you get a number of them from various institutions.

Once you have chosen your university courses, you can go back to Application tab on the KUCCPS portal and fill in the details provided. Click here to see the full process of applying for courses through KUCCPS 2021.
