The Top Secret to Success in Life

secrets of success in life

What is success in life?

Everyone has that moment in life when they feel like they are stagnating.

You sit and ponder how your relatives and friends are hitting the rooftops of success, while you go round and round in circles with little to show.

If you are a teacher, you see other teachers doing successful businesses. You are nowhere near success in life.

Everything you try hits a hard rock, and bounces off like a tennis ball; as other people cruise through their part time hassles with relative ease and success.

Sometimes you look at your life and you say to yourself,

“Years have gone, and the kids are growing.” Soon you will be paying school fees.

“I have tried studying extra hours, but I just can’t improve my grades.” Others are scoring As and Bs.

“Other people are winning tenders and contracts, but my applications barely get a reply.” Your papers could be rolling and disintegrating in paper recycling factories.

The people who never defeated you in any exam in primary school are now driving SUVs, but you are there driving yourself crazy.

Well, guess what! Everyone has been through that. If not, everyone will at some point.

The fact that you do not own an SUV does not mean you are a failure.

Owning an SUV does not mean you are successful either. People have different ways of defining and measuring success – define your own success and measure it against your own standards.

You are the driver of your own SUV, drive yourself to your destiny.

The only things that make a difference between success and failure are attitude and time.

Your planning and commitment stand between you and success.

So the top secret to success in life is not a secret – it is YOU!

You see, many of the times we focus so much on our goals that we forget to ask ourselves why we want to succeed in the first place.

Why do you want to become a successful business person, for example?

Everyone has goals in life, but do you take time to ask yourself why you want to achieve those goals?

Is it because everyone is going that direction?

Or do you have an inner drive and inspiration to get there?

The moment you ask yourself the Why, When, What, Who, Where and Who questions; which I like to call the five Wives and one Husband, you will there and then unlock the key to your success.

  1. Why do I need to start a business? Do I even need it?
  2. When can I start acting towards my goal? NOW is the best time.
  3. What tools do I need to start working towards my goal? Take ACTION. If your feet can’t move, your body will not move.
  4. Where should I start from? Where should I locate my business? Where can I find resources to achieve my goals? You get out of somewhere to go somewhere.
  5. Who do I need to for support? Well, no man is an island. Success in life comes with the right mix of people and carrots.
  6. How do I get to where I am going? Well, by first stepping out!

Once you figure out the answers to these questions, then be sure to milk success from the bountiful udder.

Thus, the secret of success in life lies within you. Search within yourself. Ask yourself questions, get answers from within, and STEP OUT.

There lies your success.
